Getting Started
The first cast is the easiest. The first catch is the start of everything ahead.
How do I start?
Open the menu with say /fishing or walk up to a water spot and press E (USE). If a spot is nearby, you will start fishing or see options.
You need to stand by a spot and have an active rod. Beginners only need the starter rod — the important part is to start and feel how the system works.
What is in the menu?
The main /fishing menu has all key sections:
- Fishing plots — nearby spots, your lake, spawn buckets.
- Start / stop fishing — pick a spot and cast.
- Rods — buy and switch rods by level.
- Baits — choose bait for your goal.
- Enchant — add relics to your rod.
- Inventory — your catches, sell, trade, PET treats.
- Fish journal — how many species you discovered.
- Server records — best catches on the server.
- My statistics — your personal stats.
How do I reel in a fish?
When a fish bites, a reeling mini-game starts. You will see a bar with a marker and a green zone.
Hold SPACE while the marker is in the green zone. The more accurate you are, the faster the catch bar fills. When full — the fish is yours!
Different fish fight differently — bigger and rarer ones often need more patience and skill. Not every bite will be easy — that is normal.
Tips for beginners
- Start at natural spots on the map — they already have fish.
- Buy bait — it speeds up bites or helps catch rarer fish.
- Raise your Fishing level via the Stats system — higher level opens more options.
- Check spot info in the menu — see what can bite there.
